Guests must also be able to walk from the entrance through empty cells to service . The route may turn and uses shared edges, never diagonals or occupied cells. Service cannot lie outside the board. The arrow identifies the ordering position; customers do not need a straight approach.

One service cell Service is immediately in front of the sign arrow, empty and reachable from the entrance. The kitchen needs no separate service cell.
Near checks whether any footprint cells share an edge ; apart checks both cells. Legacy anchor-zone rules check the sign anchor only . In this approved candidate, service regions instead check actual service cells. The kitchen must stay inside the board without overlap.
